The kit comes with a 48" - 60" braided hose and a 90-degree brass fitting to connect to the water inlet on your dishwasher. The kit should run $11.00 - $14.00. Edit: 3/8" is the fitting size for the hose itself. The connection to the water input is actually 1/2" or so, but the 90-degree fitting makes the adjustment to 3/8" for you.
1) Garden hose thread (GHT) is a straight, non-taper thread and depends on a gasket or o-ring to seal. 2) Garden hose size is the nominal ID of the hose itself, not the connector, not the valve and not any attachments. 3) GHT and NPT are not interchangeable, but are close enough that one can be screwed into the other.
what size pipe are you looking to thread? The enclosed ratchet (11R) is for 1/8" - 1 1/4" The exposed has 2 size ratchets 0R and 12R Or is for 1/4"-1" and 12R is for 1/8" - 2" I believe if you don't need to do 1/8" or 1-1/4" pipe, the 0R is the best bet as it is the smallest and would be easier to store and less unwieldy than the bigger ratchets.
My exhaust pipe fell from my muffler and is now dragging on the ground. It is still attached to the front of the car. I need a way to attach it to the underside of my car somehow so I can get it to the mechanic. He's about a 20-30 minute drive in city traffic. My friend suggested I use duct...
I'm trying to replace it with a threaded brass pipe because the inside is all corroded and is leaking. I am unable to remove the pipe because the threads are rusted in placed so bad. I tried soaking it in PB Blaster and tried using a torch and it won't budge. All I'm accomplishing is crushing the pipe with a pipe wrench.
Replace the fan to a better static fan. Test the sink... put a lighter flame under where the cpu should sit for about 5 seconds and feel if its hot or warm. A working sink should of moved all that heat from the lighter and be warm... The black carbon residue is wipeable. And no heat pipes are sealed and do not dry out.
I've never installed a washing machine before. Given that it's garden hose thread, the sealing is accomplished mechanically through the washer/gasket. Yet at the hardware store today I noticed they were trying to sell pipe tape with washer hoses, and I've found a couple articles online saying to use pipe tape.
It turns out the drain included with the faucet is an 1¼" pipe, which I suppose is pretty standard now. The problem is, my waste/sewer pipe from the wall is a 1½" opening, as is my P-trap/J-bend. Obviously when I place the new drain in the P-trap, it just swims in it and I can't make a watertight connection.
Originally posted by: eldorado99 The coolant level seems to go down when I idle the engine too, but there isnt any leaking out of the car (not anymore since a little hole has been repaired recently yay!) but that could also be because I just recently topped off the coolant levels and it has to circulate I suppose...
there is another thread on this, turned into a classic 3dfx vs. nvidia war. It really depends what you are going to do. Both are easily capable of playing todays games, the voodoo4 4500 being slower , but not by a huge amount especially at resolutions like 1024x768 or 800x600 with 32bit color as both cards are held back by having the same type ...
