Anup Jalota, (born 29 July 1953) is an Indian singer, musician and actor, best known for his contributions to the Bhajan genre of Indian music. He is popularly known as the "Bhajan Samraat" (Emperor of Bhajans). [2] The Padma Shri was awarded to him by the Government of India in 2012.
