Greatest Hits, Vol. 1 is the first compilation album by American country music artist Doug Stone.Nine of the album's ten tracks were previously included on his first three studio albums; the first track, the newly recorded "Little Houses", was issued as a single in 1994, peaking at #7 on the Billboard Hot Country Singles & Tracks (now Hot Country Songs) charts.
While Stone was undergoing treatment, his Greatest Hits, Vol. 1 compilation was released in late 1994. The music video was directed by directing duo Deaton-Flanigen. The video features Stone singing the song in a motel room, with him hitchhiking for a ride. At the end of the video, it shows his former lover marrying another man. As Stone walks away, the woman takes a glance at him as the limo that she and her new husband is in leaves the church.
