Somerton and Frome was a constituency [n 1] in Somerset represented in the House of Commons of the UK Parliament. [n 2]It was formerly represented by David Warburton, who was elected as a Conservative, but latterly sat as an Independent after losing the Conservative whip in April 2022 following allegations of misconduct.
A by-election for the United Kingdom parliamentary constituency of Somerton and Frome took place on 20 July 2023, following the resignation of the incumbent MP David Warburton on 17 June.
