Daniel Robert Ponce de Leon (born January 16, 1992), formerly known as Daniel Poncedeleon, is an American professional baseball pitcher for the Diablos Rojos del México of the Mexican League. He has previously played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the St. Louis Cardinals .
The original Ponce de Leon Park ballpark opened on the site in 1907. The structure was destroyed by fire in 1923. The ballpark was rebuilt in 1924 and named for club owner Rell J. Spiller. The Aberdeen IronBirds are a Minor League Baseball team based in the city of Aberdeen in Harford County, Maryland. They are the High-A affiliate of the Baltimore Orioles and compete in the South Atlantic League. They were previously members of the New York–Penn League from 1977 to 2020, and of the High-A East in 2021.
