All tables below have data-sort-type=isoDate added to the column headers. Remember to leave a space in the wikitext before years that are a negative number. Otherwise, |-will be used as table formatting instead of |. "c." stands for circa (approximately). "c." before the date breaks sorting in the first table.
Currently, there does not seem to be a way to copy those tables to a wiki and keep styling such as colors (background or text color). It is possible to convert PDF tables to Excel and keep the colors. Or to HTML tables and keep the colors. But there does not seem to be a way to copy any of those colored tables (PDF, Excel, HTML, etc.) to a wiki.

If you check this box, then a reader can sort the table by any column, by clicking on the header cell for that column. For simple tables, this can be done via the "transpose rows and columns" function of Copy & Paste Excel-to-Wiki, or via the "transpose" feature of a third-party spreadsheet program such as Microsoft Excel, the free web-based Google Sheets, or the free downloadable software LibreOffice Calc.
