    It depends entirely upon the type jurisdiction involved. The Base at Bremerton is a perfect example. There are2 areas of different jurisdiction. The on base housing is concurrent jurisdiction, the police can and do enter the base while performing their lawful duties. they do not always inform the base nor are they required to do so.

    It's odd that this is a Colorado law. AFAIK, there is no provision for signage creating a gun-free zone. Businesses wishing to ban guns must ask, in person, someone who is carrying to leave before trespass applies, and the time between being asked to leave and leaving or being arrested for trespass is minimal.
