Heaven was born in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia [2] and first played rugby at Lindfield Junior Rugby Club. He attended St Joseph's College, Hunters Hill [3] and came through the Waratahs academy. Heaven began his professional career in France's Top 14 with Lyon.
