UNESCO MGIEP's initiatives are designed to mainstream social and emotional learning in education systems [3] and put youth (18–34 years of age) at the center of the 2030 agenda for sustainable development in order to achieve SDG 4.7.
Its programs are designed for planners, policy-makers and researchers. IIEP targets both institutions and individuals, and works in both the national and international arenas. Rising With Kindness was the theme of the fourth International Youth Summit which started in 2018 [1] and was organised as a three-day residential seminar by Heartfulness in association with UNESCO Mahatma Gandhi Institute of Education for Peace and Sustainable Development (MGIEP) and AICTE to spread awareness of practices for self, society, and environment.
