Fish Creek State Park is a public recreation area covering 5,603 acres (2,267 ha) twelve miles west of Alberton, Montana. [1] The state park is the second largest in Montana [ 5 ] after Makoshika State Park and is home to Montana's largest ponderosa pine .
Fish Creek flows throughout its length, joining the Bow River on the east side of the park, and there is an artificial lake that offers swimming. With more than 100 kilometres (62 mi) of paved and unpaved trails, the park is a popular area for hiking and biking, as well as for picnicking, swimming, fishing, and observing wildlife.
It is located in the southeast quadrant of the city, within the Fish Creek Provincial Park, and is part of the Bow River basin. It lies at an elevation of 1,005 m (3,297 ft) and has a surface of 0.4 km 2 (40 ha; 99 acres). [1] First opened in late summer 1978, it is a swimming area open during the summer as a public beach.

McKenzie Lake is a residential neighbourhood in southeast Calgary, Alberta.The community was in development from the mid-1980s through to present. The area is bordered by Deerfoot Trail on the east, Stoney Trail on the south, Fish Creek Provincial Park on the west, and 130th Ave SE on the north.
The North end connects to the heated indoor ticket pavilion and the bus loop. The south end connects to the park and ride lot as well as the pedestrian overpass that connects Fish Creek Provincial Park and Midnapore to the LRT station. A large 1130 space park-and-ride lot is located on site.

The Fishing Creek Watershed Association plans to open a public section of the creek that stretches for 6,500 feet (2,000 meters), with a park of 92 acres (37.2 ha). There are other tracts of public property along the creek, one of which, called the Power Dam, is 2 miles (3.2 km) upstream of Benton.
