Illinois Route 158 is an east–west state road in southwestern Illinois. Its western terminus is at Illinois Route 3 in Columbia and its eastern terminus is at U.S. Route 50 , in O'Fallon . This is a distance of 25.81 miles (41.54 km).

U.S. Route 54 (US 54) in Illinois is a 23.9-mile-long (38.5 km) east–west highway that travels from the Champ Clark Bridge on the Missouri state line to I-72/US 36/IL 107 south of Griggsville. At its greatest extent, US 54 used to continue east to Springfield , then northeast to Onarga , and then north all the way to Downtown Chicago .
MD 175HC is the designation for the 0.37-mile (0.60 km) eastbound collector/distributor roadway from Snowden River Parkway east to MD 175's bridge over Columbia Gateway Drive, where MD 175HC merges with eastbound MD 175, in Columbia. The highway allows eastbound MD 175 and Snowden River Parkway traffic to access Columbia Gateway Drive.
Illinois Route 158 has its western terminus just south of the city off of Route 3 and connects Columbia with Millstadt. Interstate 255 and U.S. Route 50 overlap in St. Louis and continue over the Jefferson Barracks Bridge to Columbia, where they overlap again with Route 3 in an area just north of the city.
