Chloropentammineplatinum chloride is an inorganic compound with the formula [PtCl(NH 3) 5]Cl 3. It is a chloride salt of the coordination complex [PtCl(NH 3) 5] +. It is a white, water soluble solid. The compound is prepared by treating potassium hexachloroplatinate with aqueous ammonia: [1] K 2 PtCl 6 + 5 NH 3 → [PtCl(NH 3) 5]Cl 3 + 2 KCl
The pentahydrate is stable and is used as the commercial form of PtCl 4. Treatment of PtCl 4 with aqueous base gives the [Pt(OH) 6] 2− ion. With methyl Grignard reagents followed by partial hydrolysis, PtCl 4 converts to the cuboidal cluster [Pt(CH 3) 3 (OH)] 4. [6] Upon heating PtCl 4 evolves chlorine to give PtCl 2: PtCl 4 → PtCl 2 + Cl 2
Due to the large demand for landlines in Lahore and Karachi, in 2009, PTCL decided to increase the 7-digit subscriber numbers to 8-digits, adding "9" before existing Government numbers and "3" before the others (e.g. the number 042–7878787 before 2009, was changed to 042–37878787).
β-PtCl 2 is prepared by heating chloroplatinic acid to 350 °C in air. [4] H 2 PtCl 6 → PtCl 2 + Cl 2 + 2 HCl. This method is convenient since the chloroplatinic acid is generated readily from Pt metal. Aqueous solutions of H 2 PtCl 6 can also be reduced with hydrazinium salts, but this method is more laborious than the thermal route of Kerr ...
Chloroplatinic acid (also known as hexachloroplatinic acid) is an inorganic compound with the formula [H 3 O] 2 [PtCl 6](H 2 O) x (0 ≤ x ≤ 6). A red solid, it is an important commercial source of platinum, usually as an aqueous solution. Although often written in shorthand as H 2 PtCl 6, it is the hydronium (H 3 O +) salt of the ...

The Karnataka Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes (Prohibition of Transfer of Certain Lands) Act, 1978 [1] (Karnataka Act 2 of 1979) or PTCL is a statute of Karnataka. This law which was introduced in 1978 is retrospective in nature and is considered an ex post facto law .
The area codes in Pakistan consists of two to five digits; generally smaller the city, longer the prefix. All large cities have two-digit codes. The smaller towns might have six digital whereas big cities have seven digit numbers.
