Travis Lazarus "Travie" McCoy (born August 5, 1981) [3] is an American rapper, singer, and songwriter. He is the co-founder and lead vocalist of the rap rock band Gym Class Heroes, which he formed in 1997 with then-fellow teenager Matt McGinley, after the two became acquainted with the East Coast punk rock scene.
