A hodograph is a diagram that gives a vectorial visual representation of the movement of a body or a fluid. It is the locus of one end of a variable vector, with the other end fixed. [1] The position of any plotted data on such a diagram is proportional to the velocity of the moving particle. [2] It is also called a velocity diagram.
Shock polar in the pressure ratio-flow deflection angle plane for a Mach number of 1.8 and a specific heat ratio 1.4. The minimum angle, , which an oblique shock can have is the Mach angle = (/), where is the initial Mach number before the shock and the greatest angle corresponds to a normal shock.
Most keyboard shortcuts require the user to press a single key or a sequence of keys one after the other. Other keyboard shortcuts require pressing and holding several keys simultaneously (indicated in the tables below by the + sign). Keyboard shortcuts may depend on the keyboard layout.
Adobe Photoshop is a raster graphics editor developed and published by Adobe for Windows and macOS.It was created in 1987 by Thomas and John Knoll. It is the most used tool for professional digital art, especially in raster graphics editing, and its name has become genericised as a verb (e.g. "to photoshop an image", "photoshopping", and "photoshop contest") [7] although Adobe disapproves of ...
When creating a shortcut, consider that many shortcuts are acronyms or initialisms; others are abbreviations or single but memorable words from a longer page title. Say you want to create the shortcut WP:TS to the existing page Wikipedia:Template standardisation. Create the new page Wikipedia:TS, without yet publishing it.
In CAD area this is a drawback, because CAD systems use polynomials or rational curves. In order to get at least rational curves, the square root of the representation of the parallel curve has to be solvable. Such curves are called pythagorean hodograph curves and were investigated by R.T. Farouki. [14]
The PDF 1.4 specification allowed form submissions in XML format, but this was replaced by submissions in XFDF format in the PDF 1.5 specification. XFDF conforms to the XML standard. XFDF can be used in the same way as FDF; e.g., form data is submitted to a server, modifications are made, then sent back and the new form data is imported in an ...
A semiconductor technology, used to create photosensor arrays for some digital cameras. [8] CDAF: Contrast-detection autofocus. One of the mechanisms of automatic lens focusing. CL: Camera left. Similar CR is camera right, slang CIF: Catch in focus. A technique for allowing a camera to be pre-focussed to a defined spot, and the exposure is only ...
