The 2024 Grand National (officially known as the Randox 2024 Grand National for sponsorship reasons) was the 176th annual running of the Grand National horse race. It took place on Saturday 13 April 2024, at Aintree Racecourse near Liverpool , England. [ 1 ]
The race is usually run at the course's Easter Festival but in 2017 it was moved to a fixture in early April to avoid clashing with similar races at the Punchestown Festival. [ 1 ] The race was awarded Grade 2 status in 2004.
