Spur 37 is a 1.1-mile-long (1.8 km) route in Vinton. [64] It begins at SH 20 (Doniphan Road) and travels east along Vinton Road before ending at exit 2 on I-10. [64] [11] Spur 37 was designated on June 30, 2005, along its current route. [64] The number had previously been used for Loop 37 in Avery from 1939 to 1990. [65]
Spur 1966 was designated on February 23, 2012, as Spur 73, but to avoid confusion, it was changed to Spur 1966 on March 29, 2012. The number was chosen to honor the NCAA championship won by the 1965–66 Texas Western Miners men's basketball team as the road passes the university (now known as The University of Texas at El Paso ).
Spur 164 is a 1.000-mile (1.609 km) state highway spur in western Tyler. It is a two-lane roadway that is signed as Greenbriar Road; the road continues past both of Spur 164's termini as County Road 1125.
Spur 303 is located in Tarrant and Dallas counties. It runs from I-820 to Loop 12. At 17.4 miles, Spur 303 is the longest spur in Texas. Spur 303 was designated on February 23, 1956, from Rosedale Street (now I-820), south of the Texas and Pacific Railway overpass at Handley, east along an old interurban rail line and along Park Row Street in Arlington to the then-proposed extension of SH 360.
The highway was originally part of US 75 until the "Katy Memorial Freeway" was built to bypass Denison. US 75 was transferred on to its present route and the old route was re-designated as Spur 503 on March 1, 1972. On December 21, 1994, Spur 503 was extended from SH 91 to US 69, replacing part of Business U.S. 75.

Loop 345 was designated on January 26, 1962, as a loop off I-10 in San Antonio as a replacement of US 87 when it was rerouted. The route was signed as US 87 Business until 1992. On December 18, 2014, the section from Balcones Heights south to I-10 was removed and returned to the city of San Antonio and the remainder was redesignated as Spur 345.
