Bradley James Nowell (February 22, 1968 – May 25, 1996) was an American musician and the lead singer of the band Sublime. [1]Born and raised in Belmont Shore, Long Beach, California, [2] Nowell developed an interest in music at a young age.
Sublime completed it before Nowell died of a heroin overdose on May 25, 1996, at a motel in San Francisco, California, [12] the day after their last live show in Petaluma, California (May 24, 1996), and two months prior to the release of the self-titled album. Nowell was found dead at 11:30 a.m. in a motel room after a night of partying.
