Pitman Grove is a 20-acre (8.1 ha) historic district located in the borough of Pitman in Gloucester County, New Jersey. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places on August 19, 1977, for its significance in architecture, religion, and community planning. The district includes 349 contributing buildings. Pitman is a borough in Gloucester County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey. As of the 2020 United States census , the borough's population was 8,780, [ 10 ] [ 11 ] a decrease of 231 (−2.6%) from the 2010 census count of 9,011, [ 20 ] [ 21 ] which in turn reflected a decline of 320 (−3.4%) from the 9,331 in the 2000 census . The production of beer in New Jersey has been in a state of recovery since Prohibition (1919-1933) and the Great Depression (1929-1945). Currently, the state has 123 licensed breweries: [1] [2] [3] a large production brewery owned by an international beverage company, Anheuser-Busch InBev, and 122 independent microbreweries and 19 brewpubs.
The Pitman Panther Marching band won the I class of Cavalcade of Bands in 2003. [40] The Pitman Panther Marching Band won the USSBA NJ state championships in 2006. With their 2007 show, Spanish Fire, The PHS Marching Band won the 2007 USSBA Group 3A All States Championships in Allentown, PA on November 11, 2007. [41]
