Laurence Douglas Fink (born November 2, 1952) is an American billionaire businessman. He is a co-founder, chairman and CEO of BlackRock, an American multinational investment management corporation. [1] BlackRock is the largest money-management firm in the world with more than US$10 trillion in assets under management.
BlackRock was founded in 1988 by Larry Fink, Robert S. Kapito, Susan Wagner, Barbara Novick, Ben Golub, Hugh Frater, Ralph Schlosstein, and Keith Anderson [13] to provide institutional clients with asset management services from a risk management perspective. [14]
