Superstar Car Wash is the fourth studio album by American rock band Goo Goo Dolls, released on February 23, 1993 on Warner Bros. John Rzeznik wrote the song "We Are the Normal" with his idol, The Replacements ' singer Paul Westerberg .
Prior to Tutuska's departure from the Goo Goo Dolls, there was a payment dispute between him and long-time friend and singer/guitarist John Rzeznik over Tutuska's contribution to the writing of the Superstar Car Wash single "Fallin' Down".
It was the only single from their fourth album Superstar Car Wash, which allowed them to collaborate with one of their primary influences, Paul Westerberg of The Replacements. [2] The song was a minor success for the Goo Goo Dolls, managing to hit number 5 on the US Modern Rock chart.
