Golden Entertainment, Inc. is an American gaming company based in Enterprise, Nevada that operates casinos and taverns. It was formed in 2015 by the merger of Golden Gaming (founded in 2001 by Blake Sartini ) and Lakes Entertainment .
Golden Entertainment owns and operates a diversified portfolio of gaming and hospitality assets, including eight casinos and more than 70 gaming taverns in Nevada with more than 5,400 employees, 5,600 slots, 100 table games, and 6,000 hotel rooms in operation.
In January 2015, Lakes agreed to merge with Golden Gaming. The combined company would be named Golden Entertainment. Golden Gaming head Blake Sartini would own 35% of the company and serve as its chief executive officer, while Lakes head Lyle Berman would be a board member and consultant. [17]
