Miami-Dade Expressway Authority (MDX) The Midtown Interchange , [ 1 ] [ 2 ] located in the Civic Center and Overtown [ 3 ] neighborhoods of Miami , Florida , is the convergence of three major motorways: I-95 , I-395 (which connects to the MacArthur Causeway to the east), and the Dolphin Expressway (SR 836) .
The Gratigny Parkway opened to traffic in January 1992. At the time, no signs indicated the name of the toll road: they merely showed the SR 924 designation that it shared with Gratigny Road to the east. In 1997, the newly established Miami-Dade Expressway Authority (now Greater Miami Expressway Agency) took over the operation from FDOT.
