The Nissan Skyline GT-R (Japanese: 日産・スカイラインGT-R, Hepburn: Nissan Sukairain GT-R) is a Japanese sports car based on the Nissan Skyline range. The first cars named "Skyline GT-R" were produced between 1969 and 1972 under the model code KPGC10, and were successful in Japanese touring car racing events.
The team did not return in 2017, instead Nissan Motorsport and Wall Racing participated using four GT-R Nismo GT3 race cars. Nissan Motorsport led the race at some stages, but due to a gearbox issue, the car was forced to pit and rejoined 10th, and managed to finish the race 4th in class and 8th overall.
