Marion County is a county located in the northeastern portion of Missouri.As of the 2020 census, the population was 28,525. [1] Its county seat is Palmyra. [2] Unique from most third-class counties in the state, Marion has two county courthouses, the second located in Hannibal. [3]
The house is constructed of native limestone and faces roughly East from a rolling upland near an ever-flowing spring. It is located some three miles west of the Mississippi River bottom and five miles northwest of Hannibal, Missouri, several miles southeast of Palmyra, Missouri. Most of the original structure and interior woodwork still exist.
