Karon Beach (Thai: หาดกะรน, RTGS: Hat Karon, pronounced [hàːt kā.rōn]) refers to a beach, and the town adjoining it, on the west coast of Phuket, Thailand. The beach is a popular destination for tourists .
Hat Kata is about 17 kilometers from Phuket Town. It faces the Andaman Sea. The northern half of the beach is known as Hat Kata Yai, and the southern half as Hat Kata Noi.
