Adamson University (Filipino: Pamantasang Adamson; AdU or ADU) is a private Catholic university operated by the Congregation of the Mission located in Manila, Philippines.The university has academic programs in graduate school, law, the liberal arts, sciences, engineering, nursing, pharmacy, architecture, business administration, and education, as well as secondary, elementary, and preschool.
The Adamson Soaring Falcons won the championship of the 2003 University Games. The Adamson Lady Falcons won back-to-back women's basketball championships twice, 2003-2004 and 2009–2010. The Adamson Baby Falcons were the UAAP juniors basketball champions for six straight years from 1988 to 1993.
The university began granting the degree of Doctor of Medicine in 1902 during the new American system. Adamson University along with Manila Central University (MCU), University of Manila and University of the East (UE) were admitted in 1952 on a two-year probationary membership status. Only UE and MCU retained as permanent member. However, MCU pulled-out in 1962. Adamson was readmitted into the association in 1970.
