Noah (formerly known as Peterpan; and later stylized as NOAH) are an Indonesian rock band formed as Peterpan in Bandung, West Java in 2000, which consisted of six members: Ariel, Andika, Indra, Lukman, Reza and Uki, with Andika as the leader. Most of their lyrics are written by Ariel, who is the band's lead vocalist.
In addition to recording new songs, the band re-recorded most of Peterpan's songs in a project titled "Second Chance", which consisted of four albums: Second Chance (2014), Taman Langit (2021), Bintang di Surga (2022), and Hari yang Cerah (2022). Peterpan's vocalist, Ariel wrote "Menghapus Jejakmu" for their third studio album Hari yang Cerah. After composing the song's arrangement, Peterpan found the result unfitting for their genre and decided to exclude it from the album. [1] After the decision was made, Ariel planned to give the song to Indonesian singer Bunga Citra Lestari. [2]
