The Horace Mann School was built 1910 at the same location to accommodate expanding enrollments. The Stillwater High School or South High was built in 1918 at Twelfth and Duck Street. South High is considered by many to be the first real high school. The building has since been renovated and is part of the Stillwater Public Library.
