E46 M3. The E46 M3 was introduced in October 2000, available with the 3.2-litre S54 M-tuned engine. It was offered in coupé and convertible body styles. The M3's S54 engine has a redline of 8,000 rpm. As with most M engines, the S54 has 6 individual throttle bodies, in this case electronically operated (drive-by-wire throttle).
The BMW M3 is a high-performance version of the BMW 3 Series, developed by BMW's in-house motorsport division, BMW M GmbH. M3 models have been produced for every generation of 3 Series since the E30 M3 was introduced in 1986. The Alpina B3 S is a series of high performance compact executive cars manufactured by German automobile manufacturer Alpina from 2002 to 2006 based on the Alpina B3 developed from the BMW 3 Series (E46). The B3 S was available in coupé, saloon, convertible and station wagon body styles. The B3 S was introduced at the 2002 Paris Motor Show. [1]

Alpina B3 3.2 Biturbo (E36) Between 1993 and 1996, the BMW Alpina B3 3.0 [4] of the E36 series was produced. It was the direct successor model of the Alpina B6-2.8 model of the E36 series, which was also based on the BMW 325i (but M50B25 without Vanos model until the BMW factory holidays in August 1992 - then with VANOS).
