Power Road is part of the National Highway System as a principal arterial from Riggs Road in Chandler Heights to Thomas Road in Mesa. Power Road heads north as a two-lane road from Hunt Highway, which follows the Maricopa–Pinal county line, through unincorporated Chandler Heights, at the north end of which the road intersects Riggs Road.
Some road maps show a continuation of the route eastbound; after briefly overlapping a short southbound stretch of State Route 347 (also, confusingly, known as Maricopa Road or the John Wayne Parkway), the highway beelines southeast to its eastern terminus at Casa Grande; this stretch of the highway is known as the Maricopa-Casa Grande Highway.
Mira Loma (Spanish for "Look Hill"), now officially a neighborhood of Jurupa Valley, was a former census-designated place (CDP) in Riverside County, California, United States. Its population was 21,930 in the 2010 census, up from 17,617 in the 2000 census. Mira Loma was known as Wineville prior to 1930.
State Route 24 is a controlled-access highway at the intersection of Loop 202's southern leg (Santan Freeway) and Hawes Road, extending southeast near the Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airport. It begins at the northern end of Power Road in Mesa and extends northeasterly through the Tonto National Forest to the Beeline Highway. The highway was named for local resident Harvey Grandville Bush in the 1930s. The road continues south beyond its terminus as Power Road, a major road within the cities of Mesa, Gilbert, and Queen Creek.
