Vertigo is a 1958 American psychological thriller film directed and produced by Alfred Hitchcock.The story was based on the 1954 novel D'entre les morts (From Among the Dead) by Boileau-Narcejac, with a screenplay by Alec Coppel and Samuel A. Taylor.
Publisher Microids and developer Pendulo Studios first announced Vertigo in March 2018, during the production of Blacksad: Under the Skin. [3] Rock, Paper, Shotgun reported that Microids had licensed director Alfred Hitchcock's "name and likeness", [4] and Microids revealed that the game would be "loosely" inspired by his film Vertigo, primarily in aesthetic and theme. In 1998, the play was produced at the Theatre Royal Windsor starring Martin Shaw as Flavieres and Jenny Seagrove as Madeleine. This production was subsequently revived at the Yvonne Arnaud Theatre, Guilford with Anthony Andrews as Flavieres.
