The Asian-African-Latin American Table Tennis Invitational Tournament (formerly named Asian-African Table Tennis Invitational Tournament in 1971, renamed Asian-African-Latin American Table Tennis Invitational Tournament since 1973) were five table tennis tournaments held in 1971, 73, 75, 76 and 80.
Tennis is part of the Asian Games program. It has been played at each edition of the games since 1958, with the exception of 1970. Men's and women's singles, men's and women's doubles, and mixed doubles have been contested each time. Men's and women's team events have been contested since 1962.
Tennis was an African Games event at its inaugural edition in 1965 and has continued to feature prominently at the competition in each of its subsequent editions.

The 1987 Afro-Asian Cup of Nations was the third edition of the Afro-Asian Cup of Nations, it was contested between South Korea, winners of the 1986 Asian Games, and Egypt, winners of the 1986 African Cup of Nations. The match was played in one leg on 6 January 1988 in Doha, Qatar. [1]
