Major Crimes is an American police procedural television series starring Mary McDonnell. It was a continuation spin-off of The Closer, set in the same police division, now headed by McDonnell's character, Sharon Raydor. It premiered on TNT on August 13, 2012, following the finale of The Closer. [1] [2] [3]
Major Crimes, created by James Duff and produced by Greer Sheppard and Michael M. Robin, was the highest rated scripted cable drama of 2012. During the course of the series, 105 episodes of Major Crimes aired over six seasons, concluding on January 9, 2018.

Velázquez (born November 20, 1978) is an American actress and model known for her roles as Catalina Aruca on My Name Is Earl and Sofia Ruxin on The League.She has also appeared in films such as Blast (2004), A Day in the Life (2009), Flight (2012), Snitch (2013), and Ride Along 2 (2016), and was a cast member on the TV series Major Crimes.
He is also the only member of his academy class still on active duty with the rest having retired by the beginning of season 2 of Major Crimes. In Season 2, Episode 15, “Serving the King Part 2” at the 45 minute mark, Brenda calls Provenza, “Jim Provenza.” She never uses that name again until later in the series he’s called Louie.
