Twenty new cars were bought from the Pullman Company in 1923 and another 15 from the Cincinnati Car Company in 1927. In 1940 10 cars were ordered from the St. Louis Car Company, but they were delayed by WWII and were not delivered until 1945. They would be the last new cars bought by the railroad.
