Associated Independent Recording (AIR) is an independent recording company founded in London in 1965 by record producers George Martin, John Burgess, Ron Richards, and Peter Sullivan. [1] In 1970 the company established its own professional audio recording facilities, AIR Studios. [2]

The album was recorded with, and co-produced by, Mark Freegard at Waterfront Studios in Hoboken, New Jersey. [1] According to Madder Rose guitarist Billy Cote, the band recorded Panic On just after they had finished touring, and had only ten days to prepare for the recording sessions.
The album was recorded at Lenny Kravitz / Henry Hirsch Waterfront Studios, Hoboken, New Jersey and engineered by Rae Dileo. The album was originally released on Straight-On Records in 1988. [ 1 ] It was reissued in May 1989 through Caroline Records .
