The Jax and Carly split when Jax learns that Carly slept with Sonny, and they begin divorce proceedings, but then reconcile yet again. Jax returns from a business meeting to discover Carly and the others have been quarantined due to a toxin that has been released in the hospital. When a fire engulfs the hospital, Jax makes several rescue flights.
Sonny sends Jason to the altar to end things for him. Sonny leaves town soon after his aborted wedding with Brenda.
