Alright guys, I get a lot of messages regarding Super Dwarf Reticulated Pythons (SD Retics) so I wanted to make a culmulative thread that covers the basics as well as many of the genetics involved with these snakes (Mutation %s, locality translations, etc).

Tubs in a rack or glass tanks are appropriate housing. Care must be given that any mesh lid is made from chew proof material (metal) and no bigger than 1/4" spacing. Lid clamps should be used on glass tanks to avoid escape. Tubs must be smooth in the interior to avoid chewing and fit very snugly into the rack. 5. Bedding
Re: My golden tegu care sheet w/ taming tips I made an account just to reply to this thread, because it was frightening that this is the first google result for Golden Tegu care. Just wanted to say that a decent amount of your info is accurate, but I had a few big issues with it.
I put off doing work for school and created the following - a Ball Python Cost Sheet. If the kind folks on the forum think its not full of too much crap, maybe somebody could post it in with the care sheets for everybody to view.
I found a bit of information on a care sheet for corn snakes that says the following: "Corn snakes are very inquisitive animals and like to explore new surroundings. Once in a while change the layout of the vivarium, as this will keep your Corn Snake from becoming bored.
