Joan Joyce (born 1940) played 1954–1963 and 1967–1975 (19 seasons) for the Brakettes, was inducted into the National Softball Hall of Fame and Museum in 1983, [27] [28] the International Softball Federation Hall of Fame in 1999, [29] and has been coach of the Florida Atlantic University softball team since its founding.
