TPC Scottsdale is a 36-hole golf complex in the southwestern United States, located in Scottsdale, Arizona, northeast of Phoenix. Opened in 1986, the resort is part of the Tournament Players Club network of golf courses operated by the PGA Tour. The Stadium Course has been home to the tour's annual Phoenix Open since 1987.

The Estancia Club is a private golf club located at the base of Pinnacle Peak Mountain in Scottsdale, Arizona, within the 600-acre (2.4 km 2) Estancia Club gated community. Designed by Tom Fazio, the course was built around the natural features of the land in order to take advantage of the desert and mountain scenery.
From its inception in 1989 through 2001, the tournament was held in Arizona at the Cochise Golf Course of the Golf Club at Desert Mountain in Scottsdale. In 2002, it was held at the Prospector Course of Superstition Mountain Golf & Country Club near Gold Canyon. [2] While in Arizona, the event was played in early April.
