Before March 1992, Except Kota division, every division of Rajasthan was having a Medical College. The long awaited need of Medical College in Kota division was fulfilled by the state government by making decision for that purpose on 10.02.1992.The college started in 1992 in a portion of ESI hospital, Kota with Dr. R.L. Ajmera as its principal.
