Rock Goddess were an English all-female heavy metal band formed in Wandsworth, South London, in 1977 by sisters Jody Turner and Julie Turner. The band were initially active during the new wave of British heavy metal musical movement, releasing two singles that entered the Top 75 charts in the UK.
They played at the heavy metal festival Sweden Rock in June, 2006 and again in 2009, [15] with bands such as Heaven & Hell, In Flames and Dream Theater. In 2010 they played at Wacken Open Air. In 2013 they played at Graspop Metal Meeting and Metalfest in Czech Republic. In 2015, Crucified Barbara joined Girlschool on the North America 'Guilty ...
The band also sold out their first solo tour, Tour Act 1: Countdown to Evolution.
