The Spencer Fox Eccles Business Building at the University of Utah. Spencer Fox Eccles (born August 24, 1934, Ogden, Utah) is a prominent financier and philanthropist in Salt Lake City, Utah and chairman emeritus of the Intermountain Region of Wells Fargo Corporation.
The David Eccles School of Business is located on the southern end of campus. Currently, the Eccles School campus includes the Business Classroom Building (BuC), the C. Roland Christensen Center (CRCC), [7] the Spencer Fox Eccles Business Building (SFEBB), and the Robert H. and Katherine B. Garff Building, which opened in Fall 2018.
The Eccles Building, at 385 24th St. in Ogden, Utah, was built in 1913. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1982. [1] It was designed in Chicago school style by architect Leslie S. Hodgson. It is an eight-story steel-framed building, designed in Commercial Style. [2]
