Lewis-Palmer School District 38 is located in El Paso County, Colorado, and serves approximately 6,500 students in the Palmer Lake, Monument, Woodmoor, and the northern Black Forest areas. D38 has five elementary schools (PreK to grade six), one middle school (grades seven to eight), and two high schools (grades nine to 12).
The Lewis-Palmer School District is situated at the north end of El Paso County, north of the United States Air Force Academy. Serving a population of almost 7,000 students, the district encompasses Palmer Lake, Monument, Woodmoor and the northern part of the Black Forest area.

Student Enrollment. New student enrollment: Students are enrolled through an online application (see below). This is used for new preschool students, all incoming kindergarten students, and any other new students in grades 1-12.
Lewis-Palmer School District 38 is dedicated to enhancing student learning by offering opportunities for our secondary students (grades 7-12) that are supervised by licensed educators but extend beyond the traditional model in terms of location, delivery method, and scheduling.
