Shiva Nepali is a Nepalese politician, belonging to the Rastriya Swatantra Party. He is currently serving as a member of the 2nd Federal Parliament of Nepal . In the 2022 Nepalese general election he was elected as a proportional representative from the Dalit people category.
He is a member of Rastriya Swatantra Party. He was elected to the House of Representatives from Kathmandu 8 in the 2022 general elections . He secured victory over the runner-up candidate by a margin of approximately five thousand votes.
In March 2023, Wagle, who had for decades been a member of the Nepali Congress, joined the Rastriya Swatantra Party to contest the by-election in Tanahun 1.Wagle secured a landslide victory, defeating the Nepali Congress candidate by a margin of nearly 15,000 votes, and receiving 55 percent of the total votes cast.
