The total coastline of the world is much less than the sum of all individual countries; Even though islands seem to be included in the coastline (explicitely mentioned for Canada), it is stated that Norway's coastline is 25k km (also explicitely counting small islands), but then the length of the island coastline alone is supposed to be 58k km
