The Lahore College for Women University (LCWU) (Urdu: جامعہ خواتین کالج لاہور) Is a public university in Lahore, Punjab, Pakistan. Founded in 1922 with a capacity of 60 students, it now has a full-time enrollment of about 15,000 students and admits students at Intermediate, Graduate, Masters and Ph.D. levels.
Up to date, the HEC has published rankings for the years 2006, 2012, 2013, 2014 and most recently 2015. Kinnaird College was founded in 1913 by the Zenana and Bible Medical Mission when they started college classes at Kinnaird Christian Girls' High School in Lahore. [5] The founders wished to give Punjabi Christian women the opportunity to gain professional qualifications as teachers. [5]
