Karl Alexander Alzner (born September 24, 1988) is a Canadian former professional ice hockey defenceman. He was selected in the first round, fifth overall, by the Washington Capitals of the National Hockey League (NHL) in the 2007 NHL Entry Draft , and has also played for the Montreal Canadiens .
