New Bern (formerly Newbern [6]) is a city in and the county seat of Craven County, North Carolina, United States. At the 2020 census , it had a population of 31,291. [ 7 ] It is located at the confluence of the Neuse and the Trent rivers, near the headwaters of Pamlico Sound on the North Carolina coast.
Vanceboro is a town in Craven County, North Carolina, United States. Its population was 1,005 at the 2010 Census. Originally called Swift Creek, residents renamed the town for Zebulon B. Vance after he visited there during his 1876 campaign for governor. [4] It is part of the New Bern, North Carolina Metropolitan Statistical Area.
Craven Terrace is a historic apartment complex located at New Bern, Craven County, North Carolina. The complex was built in two stages in 1942 and 1953, and consists of 46 apartment buildings, a one-story brick community building (1942).
