Charlie Huston is an American novelist and TV writer. His twelve novels span several genres from crime to horror to science fiction. His books have been published in English by Ballentine, Del Rey, Mulholland and Orion, and translated into nine other languages.
Created and initially written by American author Don Pendleton in 1969, who wrote 37 of the original 38 Bolan books (#16 was written by one "Jim Petersen" during a legal dispute between Pendleton and Pinnacle) [2] before he licensed the rights to Gold Eagle in 1980. Since 1981, the series has been written collectively by a series of ghostwriters.

Technically the first "Super Bolan" book was Stony Man Doctrine (1983) which is also considered the first book in the "Stony Man" series.
