A few hip-hop dance shows appeared on television in the 1990s such as 1991's The Party Machine with Nia Peeples [note 9] and 1992's The Grind. In 2015, Mukund made a last minute decision to put together a dance crew to re-enter the World Hip Hop Dance Championship in San Diego. Actor Varun Dhawan arranged for Pond's to partially fund the group and pitched in with his own money to help out. Kings United came in third and won the Bronze medal. [3] [15]
The Jabbawockeez is an American hip-hop dance crew that rose to prominence as the winner of the first season of America's Best Dance Crew in 2008. The group was established in 2003 in San Diego, California, by dancers Kevin "KB" Brewer and Joe Larot.
